Training Required On-site users need 4 online courses + 1 in-person: Online (complete before arrival): APS101 - User Orientation ESH100U - Facility Orientation ESH223 - Cyber Security ESH738 - Radiological Training On-site (upon arrival):Sector Specific Training with SER-CAT staff Sector Orientation Guide Site Access Submit Gate Pass Request 1 week before arrival: Log in to My APS Portal Submit gate pass for your visit dates International visitors: Allow 6-8 weeks for clearance Before You Arrive One Week Before Your Session: Confirm all training is complete and up-to-date Verify your ESAF is fully approved Submit Gate Pass Request through My APS Portal (for facility access) Arrange shipping of samples if needed Review the APS Beam Status to check facility operations When You Arrive: Complete Sector Specific Orientation with SER-CAT staff Complete Personnel Safety System (PSS) training Complete End Station training Receive hands-on training for 22-ID-D and/or 22-ID-E Learn safety procedures specific to your experiment What to Bring Required: Government-issued photo ID APS badge number Gate pass confirmation Next Steps ← Return to Main Guide to continue with Steps 3-6 (ESAF, scheduling, data collection, EEF)
